In the available literature there is an information regarding the use of insects in feeding farm animals. All developmental stages of insects are characterized by a high content of total protein, including exogenous amino acids and fat. The concentration of nutrients in the meal supplemented with insects depends on their developmental stage, production conditions and composition of feed and substrates on which they are grown. Insects can play the essential role in animal nutrition, therefore studies on their nutritional value are required
